Why should I come to Support Local Fest?
Morgan County vendors, farmers, artists and artisans, and musicians will be there showcasing what we have to offer here in our area. This is one way to support local while also helping us fundraise to bring Monrovia's first community garden to life and fight food insecurity.
What's the big deal?
As of 2022, the food insecurity affected over 2,300 children in Morgan County.
The Monrovia area is a food desert. Our people do not have access to affordable, healthy food near their home. This means that often times we either resort to unhealthy options, or depending on a family situation, skip meals. You can help.
